Embracing Obscurity

Short Review: It is hard to write seriously about humility. But this is a good attempt and a subject well worth thinking and reading about. The best thought is the section of the false believe in the Joseph Principle. The idea that we are suffering only because God want to make us into something great. The weakest part is that the book seems to adopt an attitude that suffering for suffering sake is worthwhile. I think that if God is calling you to something and it involves suffering then that is what you should do. But if you are suffering without a calling and you can do something about it you should work to stop the suffering (as Paul told the slaves, if you can become free you should do it, but if not then serve as if you were serving God.)
