Even though her boyfriend has yet to propose, Katie sees no problem in entering a contest to win her dream dress, until she wins the contest and loses her boyfriend on the same day and can't decide how to proceed without embarrassing herself in front of the hunky bridal shop owner.

With all of the national tragedies the last few weeks, I needed a light read to escape a bit. This really fit the bill for me but without being vapid or stupid. I really enjoyed this romantic comedy with a side of tragic and all of the family issues that were covered.
Only thing I disliked was her crazy friend who found it impossible to control those crazy kids!
I'm eager to read the rest of the series.
