W-O-W-Z-A...was this book good.

Sylvie and Jeremy are madly in love. Unfortunately one day that all ends when Jeremy disappears from her life leaving her scared, alone and pregnant. Enter Silas Chambers the Bradford family lawyer. He helps Sylvie raise her son and helps her move on. That is until one day 4 years later when Jeremy awakes from a coma asking for Sylvie.

“Love is patient and kind, Love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.”

I enjoyed this one immensely. I was choked full of “FEELS” with fabulous writing and well developed characters. Jeremy was just a loyal and amazing hero. Even when I felt he should tell certain people to go stick it and move on, he stayed the course. Sylvie I waffled back and forth about, and she is the reason this is a 4 star read instead of a 5 star one. Her actions (especially near the end) frustrated me, and seemed contradictory to what she had been feeling throughout the book. I'll be honest, I wanted to smack her at certain points. The star though, at least for me, was Silas. I loved Silas, I hated Silas, he was such a complex and well written character. Of all the characters I felt he was the most developed.

In summary, this was a top notch read. Full of twists and turns. An original and well paced plot. Complete with a sweet little epilogue to wrap things up nicely. Two thumbs up on this one from yours truly.
