All in all this was a satisfying conclusion. There was some plot holes and kind of out there but you could argue that with any of the books really. It gave me an ending where I felt I didn't need to know more and felt content when putting it down. I give this book a 3.5 stars. I enjoyed it but it won't be a story that I'll still think about every now and then.
And we have liftoff! AGS signs off in great style and we get a satisfying end to the saga. Well almost:). Even as new characters are introduced in this iteration, we see some of the old complete their journey. We get an insight into Alfred Furnace and meet a couple of new enemies who come together rather satisfyingly in the end. And AGS does connect all the dots and provide us with a finale which has been a consistent theme across the 5 books. All in all a fantastic journey, which i made over 3 days with Alex. Lots of teary eyed moments and lots of small smiles shared with his friends. Thank you AGS.
