Do you enjoy laughter? Ok cool, listen to this audiobook. I've never laughed so hard by myself in my car. A delight the whole way through.
This was a fun book, not sure what I was expecting, just a fan of the author's voice work so it caught my eye. It had a lot of amusing stories and was told in a fun way. The author read the audiobook, which was an added bonus. If you're a fan, it is a decent memoir, I'd recommend it. But, I think I'd recommend any book that can pull off the use of the phrase “impromptu fuck opera”.
Definitely, definitely listen to this as an audiobook read by H. Jon Benjamin himself. I feel like this would've been a much more run of the mill set of semi-humorous essays otherwise, and some of the stories that would've been downright boring on paper were completely enlivened by his delivery.
