First Rider's Call

there is nothing overtly wrong with this book but it's just SO long. it's so long and there's such vast stretches between action and meaningful scenes that getting myself to read it has been such a struggle. it shouldn't have taken me 5 days to get over halfway through this book and trying to push forward and finish is just not going to be a good time for me and i don't want to risk a reading slump.
