I like the way she ties in disparate parts together into a narrative. It doesn't all go together into one narrative and life doesn't work that way. I like the gentle romance and the description of the setting. The reason behind the crimes are not what I expected and I enjoyed that. We don't see much of the pancake house, but we get to know the people at the pancake house better.
I liked this one.
