From the summary, I expected this book to be more laugh-out-loud funny. It turned out to be a fun read one could almost believe to be a true story. James Scott Bell has a great sense of humor that really comes through. One could probably find a moral in this story, but I'm not sure there is an intentional moral. I think this is simply a fun story about a nun who can kick butt. I would enjoy reading more stories about this unconventional nun.

Second read
After reading this again, I see how the story illustrates our biases toward the rich and beautiful as well as those we have a hard time loving. It gets me to thinking about looking to show God's love that rescues to those most have given up on.
