Yes, yes, and yes. I felt my self going into a slump but this book just fucking yanked me out of it. It was fast passed but the love was developed at the perfect speed. The premise of I'm running and he wants to protect me is just absolute perfection in my opinion and it was executed perfectly. I loved the darkish aspects of this book and it wasn't unbelievable like “why would mr. businessman own 3 guns and know how to kill someone to perfect for no reason?”

This would have been a five star if not for the third act conflict, it just did not work for me. It took me out of the emersion, it was so unbelievable. Please tell me if someone understands this, I love a women who can protect herself but for once I wanted someone (cough Dante) to protect Mila?

I absolutely cannot wait for the next book, I will be first in line when it drops.
