Georgina of the Rainbows

Annie Fellows Johnston is best known for the Little Colonel books, which Shirley Temple immortalized in movie form. I ran across this little gem years ago, in a used-bookstore in Maryland. I knew about the Little Colonel from book-heroines who read the stories, so took a chance. I loved it! Georgina is a spunky child and is always eager for adventure.
