The small town of Ever, Massachusetts is idyllic and quaint. It’s also chock full of monsters.
THEA
When my sister thrifts an aged map with iridescent lettering leading to a town called Ever, I roll my eyes. According to a quick internet search, the town doesn’t exist. We only manage to find it with the help of a sexy gas station owner who offers to come for me if I call him. Swoon.
I quickly learn that Shepherd isn’t actually human, nobody in town is. News flash—he’s a gargoyle—a dominant, possessive, creme-brulee-loving monster. That should terrify me, but something about him keeps me coming back. Maybe it’s the snark. Maybe it’s the delicious snacks. Maybe it’s his wingspan, which leads me to wondering about the size of other things. I digress.
No one realized that when I came through the town’s protective wards, something happened to them. Now the town—and my sisters—are in danger from a soul-sucking evil that’s constantly trying to burrow its way in.
Can Shepherd and I save the town and our shot at love, or will evil ruin our happily ever after?

vibrating dick goes brrrr
this was honestly a fun and sweet read with the perfect amount of spice
This book wasn't even on my radar but I saw several people talking about it in a group on Discord that I am in and it got me wanting to read it and here we are.
I thought this was a fun cute and cozy read. I loved the characters and the romance although it did take forever for them to get together. To me there were things that were a bit repetitive and that did start to get on my nerves and it ended abruptly. I do get why it ended in the way it did I was just expecting everything to be wrapped up by the end so when it ended and everything wasn't resolved it caught me off guard. And one last thing that I couldn't help but notice and have to mention even though it doesn't affect my rating of it at all is that the title is a bit misleading although I'm pretty sure I am the only one who thinks that.
Overall a really fun read that I am glad I decided to read on a whim and I can't wait to continue on with this series when the next book releases.
