Not for me.
I should've quit this series as soon as I finished book 1, honestly.
I disliked this one. Again, the premise was interesting but the execution... weak.
The characters were annoying, didn't feel the chemistry, the bdsm stuff felt forced, the choices HR made were so stupid, even the behavior of her dad and brother was completely out of character. Maybe, I'm over MC romances or dark romances. Or maybe this author isn't for me.
I really enjoyed the last 20% of this but I have to say I really didn't get on with most of it.
I really didn't gel with either HR or Danner which just killed their whole relationship for me. I ended up skipping a lot of their intimate talks and the sexy times as I just was not into them at all. Also, I read a LOT of romance with spicy scenes, but the sex and dirty talk in this just felt a bit much, honeslty I got the ick at times, but I think that was from just not getting them as a couple.
The best thing about this was Zeus and King's time on page, Old Sam in the music shop and of course Hero
