The ultimate romance novel that completely swept me away and stole my heart. I am so in love with both of the characters, wangxian has my entire fucking heart and soul. However, the placement of certain flashbacks were kind of confusing, appearing at very inconvenient and crucial moments, which made me want to hurry to the present scene to find out what happens and consequently skimming through the flashbacks and almost skipping important details. Other than that, the love between lan zhan and wei wuxian, their story, the way the author narrated it and carried it out (even though i read a translated version) but even then, even in another language, it was so significant and unique and so, so beautiful- i have no words. I'm so thankful for my best friend for finding this series and reading it, and telling me about it. I am just so glad i got to experience this sort of love.
