I love Devney Perry's writing, but I didn't enjoy this book as much as I thought.
I loved the writing, enjoyed the banter between Bryce and Dash, and liked the murder mystery in it.

On the other hand, I was expecting Bryce and Dash to resist their attraction a little more. There was a lack of pining here. Bryce gave in to their attraction a little too soon, considering her goals and objectives.

I loved how she didn't let Dash get away with much, though. She was never intimidated and that was awesome!

The fact that the murder mystery wasn't solved in this book was annoying. I feel that the epilogue wasn't as enjoyable because we didn't get the whole picture.

It was an entertaining read for sure, but not a winner for me. I'm curious about the next book, so I might read it soonish.
