It's been interesting to see, over the last few years, how the depiction of Harley and Ivy's relationship has moved from the occasional ‘nudge nudge wink wink' reference to an up-front, if often tragic, romance. This is clearly in the latter vein, with Harley trying to coax an injured Ivy back to health and then being pursued across America by the Floronic Man. The main focus is on that conflict and Harley's continued attempts to become a hero, and there's both humour and action along the way, with a good portrayal of the characters. (Although one might question why they don't kiss ‘on screen' - Superman's allowed to kiss Lois Lane in comics these days, right?) It's generally fun, and well-written, even if the requirements of DC's publishing strategy means that it doesn't lead to any lasting change at the end.
