A sweet, whimsical book about three characters trying to make their way through grief by abandoning practicality and leaning into fantasy. Because sometimes things that don't make sense are what help us make sense of things like death.

The plot was pretty predictable. Early on it was easy to guess what relationships would form, and how Harry's plan ends. But, it had genuinely funny moments, and it was full of a lot of characters struggling but trying their best to forgive themselves and do right by others. None of the characters were particularly dimensional, especially the few antagonists, but one could argue that kind of keeps with the fairy tale vibe. And, it felt appropriate to read at this time of year.
