They say his father was a comet and his mother a cosmic wind, that he juggled planets as if they were feathers and wrestled with black holes just to work up an appetite. They say he never slept, that his eyes burned brighter than a nova, that his shout could level mountains. That he killed a thousand men, and saved a hundred worlds. They called him Santiago. Bandit, assassin, rebel, thief, he strode across the galactic rim, blazing a legend as rich and wild as the Inner Frontier itself. Then, at the height of his glory, he vanished, leaving behind a trail as elusive as starlight in the empty realms of space. Now, a century later, the name of Santiago is once again whispered along the Galactic Rim ...

GAAH...this BOOK! I am in love with this trilogy...IN. LOVE. WITH. IT. And that is saying something since I am in no way a fan of one couple's story being dragged out over several books. But this author can write like nobodies business. Add in the fact that we have gotten two fantastic books with ZERO other women drama (I am sure the last will be the same), and I plan on #fangirling the SH!T out of this trilogy! (lol)
Book two starts up right where we left off with Eve and Dante having been separated for six months. Luckily for us readers, we don't have long to wait until a happy reunion takes place. However, things aren't all smooth sailing for this couple as Dante continues not to win any personality awards with his surly and often hurtful attitude. Alas, Eve isn't a pushover which makes for some great acrimonious scenes. Not to mention, some smokin' hot sex scenes which are plentiful and will set you tablet on fire.
Of course, the romance isn't the only thing this has going for it. There is a continuing sex slavery storyline that brings in a lot of new (and exciting) characters, along with secrets, heartbreak, and betrayals. Last, this all wraps up in yet another whopper of a cliffhanger that left me biting my nails; I SO need book three NOW.
So yea, nothing much left to say. I love it. I recommend it. Go buy it (on the 17th when it releases)!
