4.25 stars Reread it before I picked up the second volume and this is better than I remembered! I think I had certain expectations that weren't met when I first read it. Love the art style. (January 2020)3.75 stars I first heard of this graphic novel a few years back. Someone had said that this had given her a Clexa vibe which was all I needed to pick this up (it did not disappoint). I really enjoyed this and I can see myself rereading this first volume in the future. It's about queer Valkyries/warriors trying to stand up to the patriarchy and I am here for it! I'm so happy the second volume will be coming out this summer! (January 2019)
Loved this graphic novel and can't wait for the release date and for a sequel. The drawings are unique and perfect for the atmosphere that the story conveys, as well as the colour scheme fits the narration 100%. This volume sets a great starting point for an epic adventure

This comic was awesome. The story was great and used nordic mythology in a simple yet effective and interesting way. The art was what was really special: Very raw linestrokes, very muted greyish tones made this comic quite atmospheric. I can't wait for more issues.
