Hell Upside Down

I love trying out new authors, but we all know that it can be a little hit or miss most of the time. Luckily for me, this book turned out to be ALL kinds of AWESOME. I literally could not put it down. Just when I thought things were calming down...BAM...did not see that coming.





The writing was fantastic. It was very well paced. It was a reasonably quick read clocking in at just under three hours. The plot was immensely engaging. I wasn't lying when I said I couldn't put this one down. I sat my butt on the sofa, and I didn't move again until I was finished (lol). There were twists and turns. Secrets and lies. Pain and redemption. A little bit of romance HAPPY FOR NOW. Personally, I would have loved to see an epilogue a bit further in the future for these characters, but again, that was just a tiny little niggle.





All in all, I found this one to be a delightful read. Great writing. Well paced. Engaging plot. Interesting characters. Twist and turns that will keep you guessing. A little bit of romance. A little bit of heat. SIDE NOTE: There is abuse (physical, mental, verbal) in this one, so do be aware of that if those things bother you. So yea, nothing else left to say. This one gets two huge thumbs up and a solid recommendation from yours truly.
