Former Army Ranger Brick Mitchum isn’t a relationship kind of guy. But when by-the-book event planner Beth Brannigan kisses his socks off, he starts to wonder if she’s the exception and that maybe it’s time he settled down. She’s mysterious. Unpredictable. Curvy in every way he needs... And apparently the completely off-limits sister of a good friend. If her brother finds out she’s sleeping with Brick, he’ll kill him, but Brick is beginning to think she’s worth the risk. Each book in the Men of at Ease Ranch series is STANDALONE: * In a Ranger’s Arms * Her Secret Ranger * The Right Ranger * Army Ranger with Benefits * The Army Ranger's Surprise

This cover is alright. It isn't really a great representation on the story within and It's a little on the boring side. The typography is interesting but the composition feels off with the placement of the text.
Meh...I did not love this one as much as the first book in this series. I found it eye-rolling that Beth would keep it a secret that Cord was her brother for 80% of the book. Then again I am not crazy about the whole “my sibling has a say in whom I date” trope. Or, the ridiculous “bro code” shit that gets spouted around in these types of books. I cannot even imagine for one-second caring whom one of my siblings dated.
Hopefully, the next book is better.
