3.5 stars. I LOVED how much of a slow burn this was, it took ages for the two leads to get together which is honestly pretty much what I wanted. My favorite part of romance stories is the pining and angst that takes place prior to a relationship being established, so being able to savor that for so long with this story was a delight.

I also loved how there were so many depictions of the struggles that people of the lgbtqia+ community have to go through. These moments weren't presented through rose-tinted glasses, but rather in a way that was extremely raw and real.

Qualitywise I think this manhua was amazing, however, during the later chapters I did find myself losing enjoyment. There were different side stories focused on characters other than the two leads, and while there was nothing wrong at all with these side stories, I just was not as invested in those characters to have cared about what was happening. This is definitely more of a personal factor that hampered my enjoyment, but otherwise I don't have any “objective” flaws to point out about this manhua. Overall, a very solid read for sure :)
