Hero

There was a lot I liked about this book and a little I didn't. I liked that not everything went the way I was expecting and Thom's powers before he ‘leveled up.' I occasionally disliked Thom and the fact that this is a coming of age story, more than based around a plot. (And, towards the end, something big happened and I never should have thought about it, because now I'm left really wondering what Thom's going to do.) Ultimately though, it's a superhero story and I give a lot of leeway to them. I did especially like the parodies of a few of DC and Marvel's best known superheroes.
