Highland Defender

After reading Highland Defender, I find that I MUST go back and read book one, Outlaw King. I cam out of reading this book, that I missed a lot of Angus and Lllianna's story by not having read it. That's not to say that this book doesn't stand on it's own. It most definitely does, but at the same time I felt like I was missing something.

That said, Medieval romances are some of my favorites... and add in that it's set in the Scottish Highlands and I'm reeled in. I thoroughly enjoyed the story. The characters and romance were well developed. And my emotions were engaged. You can't ask more from a story than that.

This is the first book I've read by this author, but it mos definitely won't be the last.
