Hijinks With A Hellhound

I kind of shocked myself how much I liked this book. First, the plot is kicking into high gear and - as I've mentioned before - as someone that actually read the sequel series before this one, it's amazing to start seeing the bits coming together.

The romance was actually really nice. I originally thought this was going down the friends with benefits route, which I'm not a fan of, but instead it was the closest to a slow burn that this series i likely to turn out. While Aidan and Alyster are never going to be my favorite (or even second favorite) couple from these series', they are nice to read about and I do like their chemistry.
