My parents bought this for me two years ago. And as all encyclopedias, I decided to read it slower. It's a pretty huge book and its pictures are GORGEOUS! I like history so this was a great gift in my opinion. I just wish it had more African and Middle Eastern history and objects as it didn't focus on them much. Forget about the Balkan it wasn't even mentioned once... Also, this is a 2014 release so I think it needs to be updated with the new technology we have now. I recommend it to history fans, especially younger ones! Also the cover is pretty GORGEOUS too!
