A little more graphic than I normally read
I had to warm up to Harper, but I think that's who she is supposed to be. Ida was pretty easy to like. Several other characters were obviously on the periphery, so I didn't bother trying to like them or not. I didn't enjoy seeing so much from the killer's perspective. That added a lot of graphic scenes I could have done without.
The cover up added a little to the plot, but could have been explored more in depth. The ‘wrap-up' that answers all the whys was there, but there has to be more fall out to come because of the cover up. The end was poetic enough to make up for some of the flaws though.
