I like this cover. Good representation of the hero. Good composition and nice title work. Although I probably would have overlapped the “HOT” more.
I have to admit that this is one of those times that me not paying enough attention to a blurb before signing up worked out in my favor. Had I realized that this was about a reality type show ala The Bachelor I most likely would have given it a pass. I am SO not a fan of those type of books because there is usually way too much OW drama involved. Thankfully this wasn't heavy on that aspect. The hero made it known right from the start the heroine was the only woman he wanted.
I ended up enjoying this one. It was well written and paced. I thought it was relatively lighthearted and sweet. There wasn't a lot of OW drama or angst. Like I said the hero was all about the heroine. Some of the women contestants threw themselves at our hero, but he didn't reciprocate. The only questionable thing some might have an issue with was a kiss near the end, but it was for the camera, so I looked at it like an actor doing a scene. That said, I do wish the author would have left that out. But I appreciate the author didn't go down the route of having over the top OW issues that so many do. It had some good sexual tension and some hot sex scenes (no sex until 60%). It had a nice array of secondary characters. I especially liked Savannah and wouldn't mind seeing her get her own book. Both main characters were extremely likable. The hero was sweet and didn't come across like a manwhore. The heroine did frustrate me at times, but I also understood where she was coming from. All wrapped up in an OK ending. I would have liked a further into the future look at this couple.
So yeah, all in all, a delightful ways to spend a few hours. Two thumbs up from yours truly.
