Hot Pursuit

Not my favorite of Suzanne Brockmann's books, but I do love the Alyssa/Sam arc. I found the storyline between Dan Gillman and Jenn to be over done and a little trite (like a bad remix of Ric Alvarado and Annie from a previous book), a tad unrealistic, and weird wrapped up (or not!) in the end. I also found Maria to be a strange, two-dimensional character.

I am, however, really sad that the next installment in the Troubleshooter series will be the last one (for the foreseeable future). As much as I think there have been better books in the series, I still want it to continue.
