Truly the world is in need of more encouragers, and this book was a good reminder that “if you can't say anything [profitable] don't say it.”
If you liked How Full is Your Bucket you might enjoy Balcony People, or Dr. Chapman's Five Love Languages series, both have a similar theme, and are more focused on relationships with family and friends.
Regarding “reversing” the Golden Rule, it is presumptuous to pretend that one can improve upon Jesus' advice. ‘Personalization' is logically implied in the meaning of “as you would have them do.” Of course each of use would have others treat us according to our unique preferences; this is not ‘reversing' the Golden Rule, it's just properly applying it.
