Ignite Me

 This book has a lot of flaws, but damn, I couldn't book this down. I don't remember liking a YA trilogy this consistently where all 3 books were 5 stars. Even the Delirium trilogy I loved the second book but was disappointed with the third.

I don't know what it is about this series, but everything just clicks and makes me want to continue reading. I really like Warner's character and a good love triangle never hurt either. I like how Warner is complex and complicated. But I feel like there's enough backstory here to justify it. He's also not the typical alpha male that I read about in romances that just force themselves on the FMC but it's okay because women like aggressive men(?).

This book changes directions and the characters can be inconsistent, but I feel like the secondary characters make up for it because they point it out. So it feels like the author is aware of this. Also there's so much dialogue, which I feel where a lot of the magic happens.

This book doesn't do world-building very well or have good pacing when there is a war going on but I don't care. It keeps me hooked.
