Thank you to Chiara and Maria aka C.M.Karys for providing me with an eARC for this book!

Wow wow wow, this book!!! It had me feeling all the feels but especially: excitement, happiness, sadness and not to forget, the longing for the next book asap!

Okay, let's start with the writing style because it was fantastic. I loved the descriptive style as well as the extraordinary yet beautiful sounding fictional names / words and the higher vocabulary (for me as a non-native speaker of the English language) here and there they were using. The multiple POVs where nicely done too and were easy to differentiate between each other. One additional thing to mention is the pronunciation glossary at the end of the book was super helpful to have!

Next are my thoughts on the story, which intrigued me the most based off of the synopsis and had me glued to the pages. I mean, lost princess, assassins, pirates, dragons, fae and elemental magic WHERE CAN I SIGN UP???!! It was quite a roller coaster of emotions, as I already said at the beginning, and I loved every second of it! It truly kept me interested on every page, there weren't any boring plot fillers to me as far as I can remember.

Lastly, let's talk about the (main) characters because I ADORED them!! Shara, the lost princess who's quite badass but is also soft at times; the last Myrassar. Solana her best friend and found family; i really admired the deep sisterhood they shared. Kael and Mykal, the brave Do'strath who will face all obstacles together and would die for each other. Both also have awesome elemental magic. And then there's Derron, the nasty prince who's tasked to kill Shara but what will he do when they are crossing paths?

As a reader for whom this was her first New Adult fantasy book, I could definitely tell it‘s more mature as a whole than a YA book and I really enjoyed that! Obviously I give it 5 / 5 stars!

To conclude, I recommend this book to anyone who loves high fantasy or the above mentioned elements such as dragons etc. !
