Immortality: A Love Story

I don't know what I was expecting going into this but it definitely wasn't a woman trying to become a doctor in an age where that was not allowed. I was unaware that this was a second book when I requested the ARC but I was glad to finally get the first book off of my TBR! My biggest complaint about this book is the love triangle, but also that I didn't like either men? One of them seemed like he wanted nothing to do with her, and the other just seemed Too Perfect. He was very quick to be like “Yup! We can do whatever you want!” and I like a little more angst in my romances. Overall this book was just ok for me, not sure if it was the writting, the historical setting, or the fact that the main character continuously got everything she wanted without much struggle. I know this author has written a few other books including a YA contemporary and a memoir and I'd definitely check them out to see if I like them more!
