The reason I read this book is that the author runs/owns a website that is something of an exchange for book reviews. I had hoped to get my own book reviewed there, and a “review” was in fact posted, but it was so badly written as to be unintelligible. So, can't say I'm impressed with the website.

But I agreed to review this book (I'll post a version of it on the website, as required), so here goes. The philosophy of life offered in the book is admirable but derivative. Much of it is similar to the guidance Buddhism offers, but the author also quotes philosophers and theologians from other religions.

Maybe it can all be summed up in one quotation it offers from Ram Dass: “Our journey is about being more involved in life, and yet less attached to it.”
