Such a delightful story! I've only read a couple of fiction books about the Chicago Fire, and this one did an excellent job of giving details of the inferno and the unique challenges faced by those who had to rebuild out of nothing after the fire. I loved the attention to detail and the authentic feel it gave the book. A fun extra is that Mollie is described as wearing a dress like the one on the cover. I love when that happens!
Mollie and Zach are excellent characters and both very strong. Her determination to run her company might clash with his work, but it makes him respect her. I liked that she was strong and independent and yet feminine, also.
I want a sequel with Declan and a sequel for Col. Lowe!
