Irish Eyes

I'm a big fan of Mary Kay Andrews! I found her mysteries years ago and finally finished the Callahan Garrity books she wrote under the name Kathy Hogan Trocheck. They are pretty basic reads. I had this book on Kindle, but brought the physical book with me. Oh well haha.

Being these mysteries were written in the early 90s, things can be dated. There was use of the n-word, but it was used as it would have been by a Black woman of a certain age in the South.

I read this pretty fast, considering I didn't feel compelled to finish, like I need to know what happens next! I have a couple of short stories that Trocheck wrote with Callahan. I might read those just to read it all.

Overall, it was meh for me.
