Paints a compelling portrait of Jane Seymour and casts fresh light on both traditional and modern perceptions of her. Jane was driven by the strength of her faith and a belief that she might do some good in a wicked world

Putting it on my to read only because Jane Seymour centric books are rare. They are usually bad but goddamn it I'm an addict.
UPDATE: It was decent. I REALLY like this Jane. She is a really interesting character who has a real fiery streak to her, and a lot of inner turmoil.
Weir just isn't a good fiction writer. She comes up with very interesting concepts and ideas that will drag you through the piss-poor writing, but goddamn, she can be so bland. And too many exclamation points! After every sentence! It's unecessary!
All in all, interesting concept, ok execution. I'll be reading the rest of the series tbh. I've made it this far.
