Josefina and her sisters distrust learning to read and write, as well as other changes their Tía Dolores is bringing to the household, because they fear they will lose their memories of their mother.

I'm starting the American Girls podcast, so I'm rereading my AG books before I listen to the episodes.
This was really sweet. All the changes that Tia Dolores brings, and the worries Francisca has, are really well portrayed.
I really enjoyed Josefina's learning to weave and what Teresita teaches her.
(Apparently I only have the first two Josefina books?!)
