As the lead singer of an indie band, Melody is caught in a love triangle between herself, Ash and Brad, Ash being the party boy who unwittingly brought Melody's conflict with her parents to a head and Brad the more grounded guy who wants her to settle down a bit. However, it's Melody's secret that haunts her and ties in to her father's decision to declare her "dead."

3.5 stars. I didn't connect with the main character much, but I have to say the writing is above average - excellent in fact. The author has convinced me to look into her other books.
