Kidnapping Phoenixes and Other Ways to Die

This is pretty good, but very very long. Frances is a pretty good main character, and I love the secondary cast. She puts together an awesome found family clutch.

There's tons of action, and a good amount of character development. Lots of humor and wit. But you could cut out some significant chunks and it wouldn't be missing anything. Romance is there, but is way down the priority list.

Overall, I'm glad I read this story. I enjoyed it.
