Kino no Tabi

I absolutely LOVE the Kino's Journey anime and when I found out there was a book, I was very excited to read it and it didn't disappoint! A Thought-provoking, poignant sci-fi/fantasy short story collection that captures what I loved about the anime and also manages to feel new in this different form. It will incite wanderlust, but also give you food for thought about people, places and how the world works - in less than 200 pages. Well worth reading whether or not you're a fan of the anime!
