Kissed by Fire

DNF at 11% after I found myself reading it as an editor, not an audience. Upon being stylistically bludgeoned by a paragraph of short, declarative sentences and realizing I didn't care about much about the characters, it was time to abort. Still curious about the world-building–dragons + downtown Chicago–but not enough.
