Kisses from Katie

I became engrossed in Katie's story several weeks ago when I stumbled on her blog. I think she's doing something incredible and she's very inspirational and all that.

I'm finding it hard to describe the book. I don't want to say it seems a bit forced or faked because I believe that she is every bit as joyful and willing to go where God commands as she says in the book. She seems very sincere. It's just that parts of it were a bit contrived...the little anecdotes she told that all related back to the Bible. The “journal excerpts” were like that almost every time. It just seems like an unnatural way to write in a journal and maybe that's what I didn't like. I don't know though, I was always ready for more of Katie's family when I read it, so I definitely enjoyed it.
