So, Clara falls in lust a little quick - but I always say that for romances, never mind the fact that this doesn't even top out at 70 pages.

Probably more of a 4 stars if I were to change my rating, but it's still super cute and sweet and I think I want a sock box.

Original Review

Books should not be allowed to be this adorable. I mean, they bond over food, Pride flags and fan fiction.

“Perfect get-rich-quick scheme - life insurance policies on all the lesbians on sci fi shows. Am I right? I'm right. Foolproof.”

I adore Clara and Danielle partially because they are both such geeks when it comes to sci-fi and fantasy. (Clara's sister, too, who even made an entire dress during a Star Wars marathon back in college.) Another thing I love is that this is gay angst free. Clara is gay, Danielle is bi and their families are perfectly fine about it. And Clara's grandfather treats her singleness the same way I imagine he would if she were straight - by trying to set her up with a family friend's child. Really, I don't know the last time I got to read a contemporary where ‘gay' was no big deal to anyone. (And that is soo nice.)
