Kolkata Noir

I am not a huge fan of short stories as I always feel like something is missing and it's hard for me to stay engaged. Usually it's because of the lack of character development and, for me, that always has a huge impact on my enjoyment.

That being said, I really enjoyed Kolkata Noir. While the stories are short, they read more like novellas which I actually do enjoy.

Crime fiction is one of my favorite genres and that is what first caught my attention when I saw this book. The stories are well done and have a steady pace and rhythm. I was engaged and enjoyed the mysteries being solved.

This is one I call a coffee break read. It's perfect to pair with your morning cup or an afternoon tea break. Definitely recommend this one for crime fiction fans.
