In the film Serenity, outlaw Malcolm Reynolds and his crew revealed to the entire 'verse the crimes against humanity undertaken by the sinister government--the Alliance. Here, in the official follow-up to the film, the crew has been in hiding since becoming everyone's most wanted, and now they are forced to come out. Well if you have always wanted to know what happened to Serenity and its crew once they broadcast the tape, Zack Whedon obliges albeit in the graphic novel format. The are is nice but not great but the story and characters remain as fresh as ever though they too many of the re-appear in this book. Still Jack lays some groundwork for the future which may or may not happen and you can see Mal might have a future as rebel leader. A must read for fans and recommended for the ones who liked the movie!
