This book wasn't particularly bad or anything, but it was just a little too predictable. Though, that might've been intentional, but I miss those plot twists that make me go, “What? What just happened? WHAT?!” and cause be to flap my arms around. The rest of these stars were mostly for the feels this book gave me. I didn't cry or anything, but I got to feel that pang in my chest where...well, I'm trying to keep this spoiler-free so there'll be no more of those heart-to-heart gushing moments of mine in this review. So yeah. A nice standalone.
