She’s beautiful, friendly and completely irrelevant to his plan. Sam is determined to ignore her, except that Camilla has a plan of her own – and he seems to be a part of it! Sam believes that everything he needs to know he can learn from the movies. But perhaps he’s been watchingthe wrong ones.Life in Outer Space is Melissa Keil’s brilliantly sweet and funny YA debut. Keil's debut novel is a coming of age story about Sam and his delightful group of friends. On the surface, it's a typical story about a guy who doesn't really fit in and how the new girl in town turns his world upside down. It's nothing extraordinary, but that doesn't make the story any less enjoyable. There were some great lines that had me bursting with laughter and the end of the novel made me feel all warm and tingly.
