Identified in Hebrew lore as Adam's original wife - who left him before Eve even existed - Lilith was created out of dust, separate and equal to Adam. Living along the shores of the Red Sea, it is said, she consorted with monsters, bore demons and drank the blood of Abel. The truth of the matter however, is that Lilith was no one's creation. Indeed, Lilith created us - out of the stock of primitive hominids that roamed the earth thirty thousand years ago. Now Lilith feels the familiar hunger, the gnawing agonizing hunger that brought her species to this world in the first place - the hunger for blood.
