Lily's Promise is a truly captivating and eye-opening story of Lily Ebert's survival at Auschwitz. Starting before WWII begins, we get an in-depth look at her family and how she was raised, being a protector of her siblings long before WWII began, and how Lily's role of protector kept her, Rene, and Piri alive in Auschwitz, and after.
I feel so grateful that Lily and other survivors of the Holocaust are sharing their stories of survival. It is so important to remember what they went through and to know what led to the Holocaust so nothing like it can ever happen again.
