Continuation to Pearl Diver.
The girls are now living in the little town by the sea, Sirkka (or Cricket) is learning to become a healer, Miranda follows her father's footsteps and becomes a woodchopper.
But the evil woman has the magical pearl, and she wants power and doesn't care whom she hurts in process...
Really exciting.
I especially love it how the main characters have only one arm. I keep forgetting, and then the author reminds me by having them solving problems in a way they can... and not even a scent of self-pity or ableism anywhere! (Or “inspiration” rolling eyes)
